PRO-BEN Project: Student Wellbeing and Free Sports with CUSB

CUSB, in collaboration with the University of Bologna and the Department of Sciences for Quality of Life, is participating in a project funded by the Italian Ministry of University and Research as part of the "PRO-BEN - UNIST-HEALTH Project.”

The initiative offers free sports activities to all students of the University of Bologna, with the goal of promoting physical and mental wellbeing and addressing emotional and psychological distress.

During their academic journey, students often face moments of stress, anxiety, and fatigue caused by study pressure, a sedentary lifestyle, and lack of physical activity. Physical exercise not only improves physical health but is also a key factor in regulating mood, reducing emotional discomfort, and boosting concentration. Integrating movement into academic routines helps recharge both body and mind, while fostering self-awareness and resilience.

Objectives of the initiative:

  • Help students feel more energetic, motivated, and balanced
  • Make physical activity accessible to everyone, with a focus on fun, inclusion, and body awareness
