PRO-BEN Project: Student Wellbeing and Free Sports with CUSB

CUSB, in collaboration with the University of Bologna and the Department of Quality of Life Sciences, is renewing its participation in the project funded by the Ministry of University and Research as part of the PRO-BEN – UNIST-HEALTH initiative for 2026.

In 2026, the project will once again offer free sports activities to all students at the University of Bologna, with the aim of promoting physical and mental wellbeing and combating emotional and psychological distress.

📅 When?
The activities will take place in May, June and September 2026.

🌿 What’s in store for you? Outdoor activities only!
The programme is designed to help you truly switch off from your university routine and recharge your batteries in the great outdoors:

  • running
  • brisk walking
  • trekking
  • cycling

The perfect opportunity to get active, socialise and explore the local area… without a care in the world.

Why take part?

Studying, sessions, deadlines… we know: sometimes you just need a proper break.

With the free activities offered by the PRO-BEN project, you can:

  • unwind and clear your mind
  • recharge your batteries and regain your focus
  • meet new people
  • look after yourself, without any pressure

All you need is the desire to get moving and feel good.

🎁 Plus, for those taking part in the activities:
you’ll receive a free personalised PRO-BEN water bottle, to be collected from the CUSB offices in Romagna or at the Unibo Store in Bologna.
