Yoga Class Information - Bologna

🧘‍♂️Ashtanga Yoga

An highly dynamic practice based on a set sequence of postures coordinated with the breath. Through repetition, we develop greater precision and refinement in our movements while cultivating consistency and discipline. The yogic path focuses on purifying the body through asana and the use of pranayama. The classes will focus on the first series of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga, known as “Yoga Chikitsa” (Yoga Therapy). Each class will be dedicated to learning a selection of asanas, following a progressive path that will gradually lead us to learn the complete sequence of 75 asanas.

🧘Elemental Yoga

An integrated method that combines the principles of Hatha and Vinyasa Yoga with the five elements (earth, water, fire, air, and ether) which, according to yogic tradition, make up our body and the world around us. Each session stimulates specific bodily systems and mental states, promoting balance and emotional stability. Recommended for those seeking an evolving and mindful approach to the body, using it as a tool for self-awareness and deeper understanding of the self.

🧘Hatha Flow e Relaxing Techniques

the course develops a synergistic alternation between intensity and stillness. During the first 40 minutes, we will work on strength, endurance, and flexibility to awaken and energize the body through a dynamic flow of postures. This prepares us to become more open and receptive to the breath, allowing it to calm us deeply and release tension. The final 20 minutes will be dedicated to breathing techniques, through which we will train and guide the mind towards a state of deep calm, with short meditations and Yoga Nidra sessions.

🧘Hatha Yoga Course

It is a style that is partly dynamic, aiming to strengthen the body to eliminate psycho-physical toxins, but also static, where the focus is on flexibility. This union strengthens, relaxes, and balances body and nervous system.
The classes will have a physical part with asanas (postures), integrated with pranayama (breathing techniques) and mantras, to cleanse the body and mind, all followed by a final contemplative phase to enjoy the benefits of the practice on our body and seek a small space of inner silence.

🧘Prana Vinyasa Flow

A freely inspired and reimagined practice based on the style developed by Shiva Rea, whose dynamic flow is guided by controlled breathing to channel the vital energy (prana). We will learn how to activate it, guide it where needed, allow it to flow throughout our body, and release it outward, letting it carry away with it whatever we no longer need.

🧘‍♀️Pranayama e Meditation

A journey dedicated to inner awareness and nervous system regulation through specific breathing techniques (pranayama) and mindfulness practices. Designed to restore focus, reduce stress, and enhance mental clarity, gradually preparing the mind and body for a meditative state.

🧘‍♀️Slow Flow Vinyasa

A practice with an alternating pace, designed to develop a deeper awareness of the activation of each individual muscle and to enhance extension, flexibility, control, strength, and endurance. These qualities are explored through prolonged holds in static positions at a slower pace, while the faster, more dynamic sequences focus on consciously controlling the breath and directing the flow of energy.

🧘‍♂️Soft Dynamic Yoga

A gentle and dynamic practice designed to improve joint mobility and muscle length, while learning to use movement and breath to help the body and mind relax and release tension.

🧘‍♂️Vinyasa Yoga Course

It is a dynamic practice based on the synchronization between breath and movement. The sequences, fluid and progressive, improve muscular strength, joint flexibility, and endurance. It is ideal for those who are already familiar with basic asanas (postures) and for those looking for a complete workout that combines body awareness, mental concentration, and psycho-physical well-being
