Tennis activity regulations

In order to be admitted to the Tennis School, it is essential to join the CUSB by filling out the relevant form, aware that they accept the rules in their entirety; membership implies full acceptance of the rules, users cannot in any way plead ignorance of them.

GENERAL RULES

  • Tennis course attendance:
    1st quarter: from 09/25/2023 to 01/28/2024
    2nd quarter: from 05/02/2024 to 24/05/2024
    Summer: June 3 to June 30, 2024; July 01 to July 28, 2024

    Course attendance can be mono-weekly, bi-weekly, tri-weekly.
    Course suspensions for holidays during the year are: November 01 and 02 '23 - December 08 '23 - December 23 '23 to January 07 '24 (inclusive) - March 29 to April 01 '24 (inclusive) - April 25 '24 - May 01 '24 - June 01 and 02 '24.

  • Tennis course registrations and renewals: registrations and renewals are accepted in the months prior to the start of the courses and specifically on the dates indicated in the "Calendar Activities Sports Year 2023/2024" displayed. Registration for subsequent courses is not automatic, but must be communicated to the secretary's office and is confirmed only upon payment of the fee.
  • Cusb membership and course attendance fee: membership is required to attend tennis courses and is valid from the time of registration until 08/31/2024. It will be necessary to bring a valid Non-Competitive Sports Fitness Certificate or Sportsman's Booklet for the entire period of attendance chosen. The course fee is inclusive of tuition and field access for the duration of the course in which the student is enrolled only.
    THE COURSE ATTENDANCE FEE IS NOT TRANSFERABLE TO OTHER PERIODS. LESSONS THAT ARE MISSED OR MISSED DUE TO FORCE MAJEURE (FOR REASONS BEYOND THE SPORTS CLUB'S CONTROL) CANNOT BE MADE UP AND PAYMENTS WILL NOT BE REFUNDED.

ATTENDANCE STANDARDS

a) To enter the camp, CUSB membership is required (upon delivery of the Non-Competitive Sports Fitness Certificate), and regular course registration or renewal.
b) It will not be possible to enter the camp without having registered for the course.
c) The Sports Club reserves the right to cancel courses that do not reach a sufficient number of enrollments, giving timely notice and transferring the enrollment to other times or other days of attendance.
d) For safety rules, we invite parents and chaperones not to stand in the court during the course of the minor's course; if they wish to speak with the instructor, they may do so at the end of the lesson (it is not possible to interfere with or interrupt the regular course).
e) In tennis courses, there is ONE make-up lesson (or two lessons in bi-weekly courses, three in tri-weekly courses) per quarter/period purchased: at the end of each quarter/period there is a "make-up week" ( not counted in the cost of the course) where it is possible to attend on the same day and time of registration.
f) In case of absence due to illness or injury, there is NO form of REFUND.
g) Withdrawal from courses, for whatever reason, does not entitle the student to a refund of the fee paid.

INDIVIDUAL LESSON CARD RULES

  • Classes can only be held at the Record University Sports Center.
  • In case of cancellation, you must notify the instructor within four hours prior to the agreed upon time; failure to cancel will result in a charge for the lesson booked.
  • It is mandatory to pay for the lesson at the front desk before entering the court.
  • The use of tennis shoes suitable for clay courts is mandatory.
  • Single lesson covers the duration of the booked lesson only and does not include court rental (if interested, please contact reception for payment).
  • Trial lessons must be arranged exclusively with the tennis secretary.

FIELD RENTAL REGULATION

  • It is mandatory to stop by the front desk before the reservation time for: checking tennis shoes suitable for clay courts and paying for the court.
  • It is forbidden to play shirtless.
  • It is forbidden to consume food on the court.
  • The reservation time is understood to be 60 minutes of which the last 5 minutes are for passing the mat and tidying up the court.
  • Camp cancellation must be made by 8 p.m. the day before the reservation on weekdays, by 6 p.m. on holidays and pre-holidays.
