Alma Gym UNIone: a renovated space for students' workouts in the heart of Bologna.
This morning, the Magnificent Rector of the University of Bologna, Giovanni Molari, celebrated the reopening of Alma Gym UNIone, managed by CUSB and located in the multifunctional space for UNIone students at Via Azzo Gardini 33, near the Department of Philosophy and Communication.
The renovations, which involved a complete internal overhaul of the premises, machinery, and technical equipment available to users, provide the Alma Mater community with a modern, welcoming, and innovative space.
Rector Giovanni Molari expressed great satisfaction with this new achievement: "I am delighted to welcome the renovation of this space, which - due to its strategic connection with other student spaces, from the study hall to the neighboring classrooms - represents the intention to create integrated and multifunctional environments and to make sports a tangible and widespread presence in our Multicampus. Therefore, it seems significant to me that the space reopens during the days of the AMF, signifying our intention to work more intensively on the topic of student spaces and services. Thanks to CUSB and to all those who have made this efficient modernization possible."
Piero Pagni, President of CUSB, also emphasized the importance of the intervention: "Just a few months after the inauguration of the new Alma Gym in Rimini, I express great satisfaction with this new important milestone along the path taken alongside the University for the redevelopment and enhancement of facilities and for the promotion of good practices and healthy lifestyles. We are confident that the effort made during the summer to align internal spaces and services with Alma Gym standards will allow the new gym to become a point of reference for the entire University community and the general public. Special thanks also go to the entities that have always supported the University of Bologna and CUSB in these initiatives, namely Macron, Technogym, and Matteiplast."
The gym, like all activities carried out by CUSB in Bologna and the Romagna region, will offer discounted rates and special discounts to University students and staff, but will also be open to the general public.
It will be open every day as follows: from Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM, Saturday from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and Sunday from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
