The Esports Tournament organized by the CUSB kicks off off today its second season!

Open to all the members of the University of Bologna with a passion for football and motorsport, it will be played on two dedicated platforms (FIFA 21 on PS4 and Assetto Corsa on PC)

After the success of last year, the University of Bologna, the first among the Italian universities to launch this type of initiative, in collaboration with the CUSB, announces the second edition of the CUSB Esports Tournament.

From 2 September to 3 October it will be possible to register to compete on the FIFA 21 and Assetto Corsa gaming platforms, dedicated to football and engine enthusiasts and to access the various qualifying rounds.

The tournament is open to the entire university community and beyond!

The students will be divided by areas of belonging in an exciting challenge that will pit engineers and writers, future doctors and aspiring lawyers, but for the first time also Alumni, or former students of the University, will be able to participate in the 'championships'. from Bologna. On the other hand, CUSB members who do not belong to either of these two categories but who wish to be part of the Alma Mater community will compete in the Wild Card category.

The FIFA 2021 final will take place on 11 October in Piazza Verdi, the heart of the university area, during Alma Mater Fest, the event dedicated to the student community to get to know each other, discuss and discover the Multicampus University in all its facets. The Assetto Corsa final will instead be held in the paddock of the legendary "Enzo e Dino Ferrari" circuit in Imola, on the same day as 11 October; both will be broadcast in live streaming on a dedicated channel.
